The “Crater Flats” cocktail table consists of a 2 1⁄2” thick solid slab of walnut with the natural bark still in place. The crater-type holes are filled with smooth round river bed rocks. To introduce a contemporary industrial look to the table; a supporting twisted steel re-bar configuration and base plate were incorporated with a natural raw steel and clear-coat finish. The opposite supporting leg is a solid wood piece of walnut. The wood components were extra-dried to increase strength due to natures creative design, and selected from the nearby hills of the Ozarks.
